Constance

Originally from France, Constance began her journey in ballet before moving to NYC, where she expanded her artistry at the Alvin Ailey School and Steps on Broadway across many styles. It was in New York City, under the guidance of Janete Silva, that she discovered Afro-Brazilian dances — a path that led her to train in Salvador, Bahia with incredible teachers who shaped the dancer and person she is today. A massage therapist with a deep respect for the body and its intelligence, she believes in caring for movement from the inside out. Samba fuels her soul, keeps her moving, challenges her to grow constantly, and creates deep human connection. Now based in Salt Lake City, she is grateful to have found a beautiful new dance family with Samba Fogo.
